NEW! Glazing ClassES
Designed for our students that have taken or plan to take our One-Time Beginner Wheel Throwing or Hand-building for All Ages pottery classes. Explore a variety of colorful glazes and add some color to your pottery pieces. Choose your glazing class date when you register for class. Each class in an hour long and the cost is $25 per person.
One-time Beginner Pottery Wheel Class
For ages 13 and up, only
Creativity in Community: Your alternative to boredom, bars, and blues.
A day out of fun and creativity. Come laugh and play with clay!
Always wanted to try the potter’s wheel? Here’s your opportunity without a long commitment. In this class, you can experience throwing on the wheel (two people to a wheel taking turns)! Each month the pieces will be themed differently with the same throwing techniques. Each participant gets 1 FREE piece to keep, additional pieces kept are $10 each.
6-Week Throwing on the Wheel & Hand-Building
For Ages 16 and Up
Watch a throwing and hand-building demonstration for each class. You will alternate between the two with your classmates and make various shapes/techniques. Learn to make bowls and mugs on the wheel, pulling handles, slab rolling, and coil pots. Come with your imagination and ideas of what you want to make, and we will guide you. You will see a demonstration each night for 5 weeks and will glaze all your own work in the 6th class.
Hand-Building for All Ages
Great for Kids and Adults
In this class, hand-building techniques are taught with different projects monthly.
This is an experimental class with an introduction to basic hand-building techniques. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, including shoes, and leave jewelry at home (long nails are prohibitive).
The value is in the process of making your piece, One piece you make will be dried, fired, and glazed for you to keep. If you decide to keep additional pots you make, there is a charge of $10 per piece (if your piece gets accidentally broken in the firing process, we refund your $10 payment).

Private Pottery Classes & Parties for up to 12 people
Book a private class for a group of friends, family, or just yourself. Great for bridal showers, birthday parties, anniversaries, girl and boy scouts, or fun.
We offer one and two-hour classes where you'll learn the basics of throwing on the wheel.
Therapeutic Clay Classes
These classes take you deeper. They often include meditation, drawing, or self-reflection. They are designed to teach you about clay and some aspect of yourself. They are often in 2 parts. You work with the clay in the first class, and in the second you glaze the piece. We strive to offer one a month.
