Glazing Pottery Classes
Designed for our students that have taken or plan to take our One-Time Beginner Wheel Throwing or Hand-building for All Ages pottery classes. Students interested in painting pots but haven’t taken a pottery class with are welcome to join in the fun as well! Explore a variety of colorful glazes and add some color to your pottery pieces. Choose your glazing class date when you register for class. Each class in 90 minutes long.
We offer 2 options for students interested in glazing their pieces:
For students who have taken a pottery class at The Voice of Clay:
Students that have taken our One-Time Beginner Wheel-throwing Pottery classes or our Hand-building for All Ages classes can register for an available Glazing Class date. The cost is $25 per person to paint your own pot made during your class. (This is optional, students can choose not to glaze their pieces and they will be glazed by us in a clear glaze.)
NOTE: When Registering, students that HAVE taken a pottery class with us only need to register for their chosen “Glazing Class”.
For students interested in painting pots but haven’t taken a pottery class at The Voice of Clay:
Looking for a relaxing and creative outlet where you paint (glaze) pots? We provide a selection of pre-made bisque pots for you to choose from and we provide the glazes, underglazes and painting supplies. Currently, we offer small bowls, heart-shaped bowls, ring holders and mugs. Students pay for the class $25 plus the cost of your preferred bisque piece.

Class ($25)+ Small Bowl (about the size of a small cereal bowl) $10
Class ($25)+ Ring Holder $10
Class ($25)+ Small Heart Bowl $10
NOTE: When Registering, Students only wanting to paint and have NOT taken a Pottery class with us need to register for their chosen “Glazing Class” date and then select from the "ADD TO CLASS" menu within that date for your specific bisque pot.
