The Voice of Clay welcomes Jaime! She will be teaching this Summer’s Children’s clay classes.
Jaime Carlson first started working with clay in high school. Her junior and senior years were spent in a work study program at a pottery studio where she took classes, taught children’s classes and assisted in the day-to-day aspects of running the studio. Life took many interesting twists and turns taking Jaime away from pottery, but she reconnected with her passion a few years ago at a studio in Westford Massachusetts where again, she teaches and continues to develop her “voice” in clay. Jaime enjoys hand building with slabs, wheel throwing and creating beautiful colorscapes with glaze.
“I find working with clay to be deeply grounding and immensely satisfying. I love the smells of the studio and just getting lost in the creative process. Life is always good when you’re working with clay!”
Jaime is also an energy healer and spiritual guide, helping people move through challenging times in their lives to places of peace and stability where they realize their dreams.
